Hey guys! So i just got back from being in Spain for two weeks a couple of days ago. Thought i'd tell you all about some stuff i did.
So we stayed in my grandparents resort place,which was really nice apart from having only one bathroom between four people.(At home i have my own bathroom) Anyway..I find its a little strange going to stay places where there's loads of English pubs and stuff,its just like being at home. Why would you go to another country and eat food you can go eat around the corner from where you live at home? So i wasn't really in control of where we ate,and we ended up eating at a few English places and also an Italian and a Chinese. So on the second last night i suggested going to try some proper Spanish food,ie Paella. They said yes and when we got to the resteraunt everyone decided to have paella,there were eight of us.They brought out the chicken and prawn paella in these HUGE pans. It was reeeeally nice! I love rice anyway but this was really tasty,shame we couldnt go back and get it again. If you do you to a country you should definatly try the local dishes,and make sure you get a good resteraunt becasue some tourist places just microwave the food cause they think the toursits are stupid. Mind you some are,walking round with huge maps shouting loudly and irritatiing lots of people,but there you go.
